The third HealthTech Innovation conference opens its doors in the capital of the United Arab Emirates for the second time under the patronage of H.H. Sheik Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Yas Hotel on April 3-4, 2011. The event is endorsed by the European Commission, the Emirates Identity Authority and Abu Dhabi Police.

The fourth HealthTech Innovation conference opens its doors in Rio de Janeiro at the Othon Palace Hotel on June 21-22, 2011 on the occasion of the inaugural Americas Summit on security, mobility and traceability.

The cardinal event of 2011 will be hosted at the 10th ID WORLD International Congress, which features a 3-day conference, a 2-day exhibition and extra networking activities.

A distinguished line-up of speakers took to the stage at the HealthTech
Innovation Conference, the world’s first forward thinking high-end technology think-tank
dedicated to security, safety and traceability in the healthcare sector, in Milan, on November
16 to 18, 2010.
Following on the success of the Healthcare@IDWORLD Working Group held in May at ID
WORLD Abu Dhabi 2010, the inaugural HealthTech Innovation Conference was held in Milan
in November 2010, on the occasion of the ninth ID WORLD International Congress. End-user
healthcare and hospital representatives from around the world gathered with ICT experts in
mobility, security and traceability for a focused three-day program of debate and networking.
The HealthTech Innovation Conference, the cardinal appointment in the 2010 calendar of
Healthcare Innovation events, was held under the patronage of the European Union and the
President of the Council of Italian Ministers (Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri, Italia), as
well as the Italian Ministries for Foreign Affairs and the Interior.
The event provided a unique platform for discussing and demonstrating some of the most
advanced technologies and applications aimed to improve efficiencies in a hospital
environment, while illustrating how they can best be implemented on a global scale,
improving business and creating new sources of revenue.
